Founded in late 2021, True Natured Rescue Inc. was established to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and sanctuary for animals in need. As a small family-run nonprofit, we are dedicated to giving vulnerable animals a second chance at life through compassionate care, advocacy, and responsible placement.

While we began by rescuing dogs at risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters, our mission has expanded to include horses and other animals facing neglect, abandonment, abuse, medical hardship, or displacement. Animals in our care receive food, shelter, veterinary attention, rehabilitation, and the individualized support they need to heal and thrive.

For animals that are adoptable, we work diligently to find loving, permanent homes through a thoughtful matchmaking process that prioritizes the best fit for both the animal and adopter. For those who are elderly, medically fragile, behaviorally challenged, or otherwise unable to be rehomed, we provide lifelong sanctuary where they can live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
